HISTORY / BACKGROUND:
The M7 bayonet was introduced in 1964.  
It was based on the M14's M6 bayonet but had a revised pommel mounted locking
system and a larger diameter muzzle hole to fit the duckbill flash hider.
Overall length is 11.9"
Approximately 3 million were produced during Vietnam.
They are still in production today.
